Good Programmers are Highly Appreciated

Hi everybody, today I'm going to tell you about my very much chartered job which I want to do but I have no tools. I wanna be a good professional programmer of web development but I can't find a proper guideline. I can't understand from exactly where I will start . I also don't know how long my road will be. I'm sorry I really don't know what are the sequences ( steps) to be a good professional programmer. I have this dream as because I found in the freelancing work ( I'm a freelancer click here to my profile ) there is a high demand of good professional programmings. This inspired me very very much. I have a little knowledge on C , html but don't know what is flash, php, css, java etc. anyone please please please help me... Please give the answer of my following questions....

1 ) What is the requirements to be a good professional website developer (website coder of website programmer) ?

2) What are the steps ?
3) what is database ?
4) How to integrate different portion with different programmer + database in one webpage ?
5) How to see this webpage to the internet.

please I'm again sorry as I have almost no idea on programming. Kindly friends please give me the suggestion and the answers of this question. All answers should be highly appreciative .

Owo Claudia you are really great , the books are very effective and well stranded. They are really helping me. I'm currently doing a course on web developing in my Engineering University and HTML Programming language is almost completed. yahoooooo !!!!! I have completed my HTML programming section and now I can develop a complete professional website in HTML. that is the static website can easily developed by me now....
